Impact

Over the past eight years, by God’s grace, we have formed hundreds of future missionaries—young Hispanic Catholics equipped to serve the Church with zeal and compassion. Through immersive theological talks, hands-on workshops, and transformative service experiences, participants have encountered Christ, deepened their faith, and embraced their call to evangelize.

Each formation journey is a step toward building a Church that is alive, missionary, and rooted in the Gospel, especially within Hispanic communities and beyond.

From Formation to Mission: Growing in Faith, Service, and Love

In our formation programs, we guide young Hispanic Catholics to become preachers and missionaries who grow in faith, service, and authentic love. Rooted in the Gospel and inspired by the example of Christ and St. Francis of Assisi, participants are led into transformative encounters that unite personal holiness with missionary action.

As part of their journey, they serve at the Franciscan Friars’ homeless shelter, and go forth on the streets during “Jesus Runs”—bringing food, drink, prayer, and the presence of Christ to our brothers and sisters experiencing homelessness.

Through these sacred encounters, participants come to understand the profound connection between personal faith and self-gift. They learn not only how to serve, but how to love with the heart of Christ—with humility, courage, and compassion.

Program Life: Invited Participants to taste mission life

Some of our programs invite participants into a radical simplicity of life, echoing the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi. In these immersive experiences, young missionaries share humble meals of rice and beans, take bucket showers, and live in intentional community—learning to rely on God and one another.

This simplicity is not deprivation—it is formation. It helps participants step beyond comfort and into communion, grounded in the Catholic conviction that every person is created in the image of God, with infinite dignity and a vocation to love.

Through these experiences, participants begin to understand that true missionary discipleship is not just about doing—it is about being: being present, being vulnerable, and being Christ to others.

Beyond Formation: Equipping Participants to Live Their Mission

Our program helps participants rediscover their dignity and embrace a life rooted in prayer, community, and service. Inspired by this transformation, they become missionary disciples who share their faith with others. Each participant leaves with an action plan to apply their preaching skills in their own community and stays connected through regular updates.

Beyond Formation: Equipping Participants to Live Their Mission

Our programs are designed to help participants rediscover their God-given dignity and embrace a life anchored in prayer, community, and self-giving service. Inspired by the transformative love of Christ, they are formed to become missionary disciples—preachers and witnesses who share the Gospel with conviction, humility, and joy.

As part of their journey, each participant develops a personal action plan to apply their preaching and evangelization skills within their own parish, community, or mission field. They remain connected through ongoing spiritual accompaniment and regular updates, fostering a network of support and accountability.

This is not just formation—it is a commissioning. Each soul is sent forth to proclaim Christ with heart and fire, becoming a living witness to the love that transforms the world.
